Welcome to Tynewater K9

Welcome to Tynewater K9.  We are a small, professional dog training practice with a range of options designed to provide convenient, effective solutions tailored to meet the needs of you and your dog.

If you have problems with your dog coming back to you, jumping, up, barking at other dogs we can help. If you are getting a new puppy or have a new puppy and need support with puppy biting, toilet training or general training we can help.

Based in the Lothians we teach progressive, reward based methods in small, friendly groups or on a one-to-one basis across the Lothians and Borders.   We specialise in puppy development focusing on those important early months in a puppy's life.  We have in-depth experience of settling in dogs adopted from rescue as we have worked for many years as a volunteer in a national rescue and have fostered and adopted a number of rescue dogs.

We are fully qualified, fully insured and are vet recommended.

Gwen is a Certified Training Partner with the Karen Pryor Academy, a Registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council, a Certified Dog Trainer with INTODogs, a Certified Animal Trainer with ICAN, Accredited Member of the IMDT (Institute of Modern Trainers), Full Members of the Pet Professional Guild.
